OVERVIEW
An interactive web prototype exploring digital interface design, web audio, and retro-terminal aesthetics for Demetria’s Cousin. Designed as a simulated parallel-dimension television station, the experience combines dark-mode UI, monochrome typography, bracketed system navigation, interactive media, and audio.
Using Base44, I translated an existing creative and visual concept into a functional browser-based prototype, allowing me to test the experience as an interactive environment rather than a static design.
AI-ASSISTED DESIGN WORKFLOW
This project documents an AI-assisted prototyping process:
- Creative Direction: Established the Demetria’s Cousin visual language, broadcast concept, interface structure, and system-style directives.
- Rapid Prototyping: Used Base44 to translate the creative brief into an interactive web environment and quickly test ideas in-browser.
- Art Direction & Refinement: Directed typography, hierarchy, interface structure, media presentation, audio behavior, and visual atmosphere through iterative prompting and refinement.
- Interactive Experience: Explored how video, sound, navigation, and interface elements could work together as part of a larger digital experience.
The result is an experimental prototype demonstrating rapid tool adoption, AI-assisted design, and creative direction across an interactive web environment.
